An AI note taker for phone calls, not just meetings
Most AI note takers join Zoom and Teams. Your deals happen on the phone. Dimts takes the notes on ordinary phone calls, on iPhone, Android or any phone, and keeps track of what every customer promised.
Updated October 2026.
Why meeting note takers miss phone calls
Tools built for video meetings need a calendar link to join. A customer calling your mobile, or you calling a supplier from the van, never creates one. Some phones can now record and summarize a call, but only on certain models and countries, and the summary sits in a notes app with no link to the customer it came from.
What Dimts writes down after every call
- Agreed: prices, quantities and dates, word for word, each linked to the second it was said.
- You owe: what you promised the other person, and by when.
- Waiting on: what they promised you. It stays on their page across every call until it's done.
- A drafted follow-up: an email or message confirming what was agreed, ready to check and send by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or text.
- Answers on demand: ask "who am I still waiting on this week?" and get an answer with links to the calls.
How it works on any phone
- Dial from Dimts, or let customers call your Dimts business number.
- Dimts rings your own phone first, then connects the other person. No new SIM, nothing for them to install.
- Before anyone speaks, the other person hears that the call is recorded. Where the law asks for explicit agreement, both people press 1.
- When you hang up, the notes are waiting in the app and on the web.
Because the call is recorded on the line, not by your handset, it works the same on iPhone and Android, with no app tricks and no "recording not supported on this device".
Only you can read your calls. Call content is encrypted at rest, and Dimts staff tools show account metadata, not recordings or transcripts.

Questions
Can AI take notes on a regular phone call?
Yes. Dimts records the call on the phone line, with a spoken consent notice, then writes notes listing what was agreed, what you owe and what you're waiting on. It works on ordinary calls, not only video meetings.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. Dimts rings your iPhone like a normal call, so it doesn't depend on your iOS version or region. The same is true on Android.
Do the people I call need the app?
No. They get a normal phone call and hear a short notice that the call is recorded before anyone speaks.
Is it free?
The 21-day trial is free and includes 5 minutes of calls, no card needed. After that, past calls stay readable for free and new recorded calls need Pro ($20 a month) or Business ($50).
Is it legal to use an AI note taker on phone calls?
It depends on where you and the other person are. Dimts plays a recording notice on every call, and on Gulf, German and Austrian numbers both people press 1. See our guides to US state laws and UK, EU and Gulf laws.
